Cookie policy

altarriba.fr

(hereinafter the “ Site ”)

Last updated: 9 September 2025

1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?

When you browse our Site, cookies, pixels and other trackers (collectively referred to as “ Cookies ”) are placed in your browser.

A Cookie is a small file, often encrypted, stored in your browser or device and identified by a name. It is placed when you visit a website or application. Each time you return to that website or application, the Cookie is retrieved from your browser or device, allowing the browser to be recognized.

These Cookies may allow us to access your browsing data and/or personal data about you.

This page explains how cookies work and how to use the available tools to configure them.

2. IDENTIFYING COOKIES

2.1. Technical and functional Cookies

Technical and functional Cookies are necessary for the Site to work properly and to provide our services. They are used throughout your visit to facilitate browsing and perform certain functions.

A technical Cookie may, for example, remember responses entered in a form or your language and display preferences when such options are available. Without these Cookies, you will not be able to use the Site normally; we advise against deleting them.

2.2. Advertising Cookies

Advertising Cookies may be created by our Site as well as by other websites and applications displaying advertisements, widgets or other elements on the page.

These Cookies may be used to personalize advertising, measure its effectiveness or target advertisements.

2.3. Content personalization Cookies

Content personalization Cookies allow us to offer content likely to match your interests based on your browsing profile. This profile is established from content you have already viewed.

2.4. Social network Cookies

Social network Cookies allow you to share content from our Site on social networks and let others know about your opinions or use of our services, notably by clicking “like” and “share” links.

These Cookies may also allow users’ browsing on the Site to be tracked.

2.5. Analytics Cookies

These Cookies allow us to measure visits, page views and user activity. They may collect your IP address to identify the city from which you connect. Analytics Cookies help us produce statistics on traffic and browsing to improve the Site’s performance.

The Cookies used also help identify navigation problems and, in time, resolve them.

In particular, we use:

  • Umami : an open-source, privacy-focused web analytics solution (fully anonymized data, without personal cookies).
  • Microsoft Clarity : behavioural analysis to improve the user experience (heatmaps and anonymized sessions).

The full, up-to-date list of analytics cookies is available through our .

3. YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES

3.1. Cookies that may be placed without consent

Some Cookies do not require your consent, including:

  • Technical and functional Cookies necessary for the Site to operate; and
  • Certain audience measurement Cookies or Cookies used to test different versions of the Site to optimize editorial choices.

3.2. Accepting or rejecting Cookies requiring consent

Other Cookies require your explicit consent before they are placed on your device.

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or customize your choices for these Cookies.

Your preferences are retained for a maximum of six (6) months. After this period, you may be asked for consent again.

You can withdraw your consent or change your preferences at any time by clicking , available at the bottom of every page of the Site.

3.3. Browser settings

Most browsers accept Cookies by default. You can, however, block them or ask your browser to notify you when a site tries to place a cookie on your device.

Please note that some Site features may stop working.

You can also configure your browser to accept or reject specific Cookies.

Each browser has different settings. Its help menu explains how to change your Cookie preferences.

Each browser offers different configuration options:

  • For Internet Explorer: go to “Settings”, then “Internet Options”. Click “Privacy”, then “Advanced Privacy Settings”;
  • For Chrome: go to “Settings”, then “Privacy and Security”. Click “Permissions” and “Cookies and site data”;
  • For Safari: go to the “Settings” application, then Safari. Open “Privacy and Security”. You can choose to block all Cookies.
  • For Firefox: click the menu button and select “Settings”. Select “Privacy & Security”. Under “Enhanced Tracking Protection”, choose “Custom”. Check “Cookies” and select which types to block from the drop-down menu.

3.4. Advertising identifiers

Personal data about you may be collected in connection with your advertising identifier.

Each mobile phone has a unique advertising identifier that allows advertisers to deliver targeted advertising.

Android and Apple provide privacy controls in their settings, making it possible to prevent a link between advertising history and future browsing.

You can disable and reset your advertising identifier at any time if you no longer wish to receive targeted advertisements:

  • On iOS: go to “Settings”, then “Privacy”, then “Advertising”, then “Reset Advertising Identifier”;
  • On Android: go to “Google Settings” (or “Settings”, then “Google”), then “Ads”.

You will probably receive the same amount of advertising, but it will be less relevant.
